Liability, Waivers & Disclaimers

1. General Liability Waiver Participation in any program, summit, or event organized by Future Youth Global Network (FYGN) is entirely voluntary. By attending, the delegate explicitly agrees to release FYGN, its organizers, employees, partners, and volunteers from any liability to the fullest extent permitted by law regarding:

  • Health & Safety: Medical illness, injury, accidents, or health emergencies occurring during the program.

  • Personal Property: Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, luggage, or electronic devices.

  • Third-Party Actions: Any harm caused by third parties, venues, or external service providers.

2. Mandatory Travel & Medical Insurance It is mandatory for all international delegates to secure comprehensive travel and medical insurance prior to their arrival.

  • FYGN does not provide any form of health or travel insurance coverage.

  • The delegate is solely responsible for all costs related to medical treatment, hospitalization, emergency repatriation, lost luggage, or flight cancellations.

  • FYGN reserves the right to request proof of insurance upon arrival.

3. Assumption of Risk & Travel Disclaimer Delegates acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with international travel. FYGN is strictly exempt from liability for:

  • Visa Issues: Visa rejection, processing delays, or border entry refusal by immigration authorities.

  • Travel Disruptions: Flight delays, cancellations, or missed connections.

  • External Factors: Changes in weather, local regulations, or unexpected operational challenges. Delegates participate at their own personal risk and are responsible for their own safety and well-being.

4. Force Majeure FYGN shall not be held liable, responsible, or financially obligated for any failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control ("Force Majeure"). This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, storms).

  • Pandemics, epidemics, or public health emergencies.

  • Political instability, war, civil unrest, or government restrictions.

  • Strikes or severe infrastructure failures. In such cases, FYGN reserves the right to reschedule or modify the event without issuing refunds or reimbursements for travel expenses.

5. Media Consent & Release By participating in FYGN programs, delegates grant FYGN a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use their image, likeness, voice, and contributions in:

  • Photography & Video: Official photos and video recordings taken during the event.

  • Usage: Marketing materials, social media, website content, press releases, and future publications.

  • Opt-Out Policy: Delegates who strictly do not wish to appear in media must notify FYGN in writing via email (info@fygn.org) at least 7 days prior to the event start date. Failure to provide prior notice constitutes implied consent.
