1. Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy outlines how Future Youth Global Network (FYGN) collects, uses, and protects participant data in compliance with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection, the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679), and applicable global data protection standards.

Data We Collect

  • Full name, nationality, and date of birth.

  • Email address, phone number, and country of residence.

  • Passport and visa details, where required.

  • Health information (e.g., dietary requirements, allergies, or physical accessibility needs) solely for event logistics.

  • Payment records for self-funded participants.

  • Application form responses and professional details (CV/Resume).

  • Photos and video recordings captured during events.

  • IP address, device information, and cookies (used for analytics and security).

Purpose of Data Collection

Collected data is used solely for:

  • Participant selection and official communication.

  • Visa support processes, where applicable.

  • Payment processing and registration confirmation.

  • Certificate issuance and participation documentation.

  • Ensuring participant safety and catering to dietary/medical needs.

  • Program evaluation and operational improvement.

Data Sharing & International Transfers Participant information may be shared only when strictly necessary with:

  • Hotels and venues for accommodation and logistical arrangements.

  • Embassies or immigration authorities when legally required.

  • Payment processors and financial service providers.

  • Government or security authorities when mandated by law.

Note on International Transfer: Since FYGN is headquartered in Dubai, international participants acknowledge that their data will be processed in the United Arab Emirates (HQ) and may be transferred to the Host Country where the specific event takes place (for logistics, visa support, and accommodation purposes). No personal data is ever sold, rented, or commercially traded.

Data Retention & Deletion All data is stored securely and retained only for the legally required period or as long as necessary for the purposes outlined above. Data is deleted or anonymized after the retention period expires unless regulatory obligations require an extension.

Your Rights Participants may request:

  • Access to their personal data.

  • Correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.

  • Deletion of personal data, where legally permitted ("Right to be Forgotten").

  • Restriction of processing.

  • Export or portability of data.

  • Withdrawal of consent at any time.

2. GDPR Compliance – EU Data Rights

In accordance with GDPR, participants have the right to access, correct, transfer, or erase their data. In the event of a high-risk data breach, affected users and relevant authorities will be notified within 72 hours where required by GDPR.

3. Cyber Security Policy

FYGN applies reasonable and appropriate digital security standards (including encryption and secure servers) to protect participant data. However:

  • No digital system is completely risk-free.

  • Participants are responsible for securing their own devices, accounts, and networks.

  • FYGN is not liable for third-party cyber incidents, service outages, or breaches beyond its direct control.
