Refund & Financial Policy

1. Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies only to self-funded registrations. By completing the payment, the delegate agrees to the terms outlined below.

Application Fees

Any fees designated specifically as "Application Fees" or "Administrative Fees" are non-refundable under all circumstances.

Registration Refund Schedule

Refunds are calculated based on the date a formal cancellation request is received via email (info@fygn.org) relative to the official program start date:

Days Before Event | Refund Percentage

  • 90 days or more: 100%

  • 75–89 days: 75%

  • 60–74 days: 50%

  • 45–59 days: 25%

  • Less than 45 days: No refund

    ⚠️ Early Bird & Promotional Rates (Non-Refundable) Please note:

    Registrations secured under "Early Bird" ratesor special discounted offers are strictly non-refundable. Due to the discounted nature of these tickets, the standard refund schedule above does not apply. No refunds or cancellations will be accepted for these categories regardless of the request date.

Additional Refund Conditions & Deductions

  • Transaction Fees: Third-party payment processing fees (e.g., Stripe, Bank Charges) and currency conversion costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the final refund amount.

  • Exchange Rates: Refunds are processed in the original currency of payment. FYGN is not responsible for any difference in the refund amount due to fluctuating exchange rates or the delegate’s bank fees.

  • Processing Time: Approved refunds will be processed within 14–21 business days. It may take additional time for the funds to reflect in the delegate's bank account depending on their local bank policies.

Visa Rejection & Travel Policy (Strictly Enforced)

  • The delegate is solely responsible for obtaining the necessary visa and travel documents.

  • Visa rejection or delayed processing is treated as a personal cancellation.

  • Refunds for visa-related issues will strictly follow the "Registration Refund Schedule" table above. No exceptions will be made for late visa denials.

No-Shows & Late Withdrawals No refunds will be issued for:

  • Failure to attend the event (No-Show).

  • Cancellation requests made less than 45 days before the event.

  • Early departure from the program.

Fully Funded Delegates

Fully funded delegates are not eligible for refunds as no program fees are paid. However, failure to attend without prior notice may result in blacklisting from future events.

2. Anti-Fraud Policy

FYGN maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward fraud and unauthorized chargebacks. Fraudulent activity includes, but is not limited to:

  • Use of false identity or submission of altered/falsified documents.

  • Unauthorized payments, stolen credit card usage, or payment manipulation.

  • Friendly Fraud: Filing a dispute or chargeback with the bank after attending the event or agreeing to the non-refundable terms.

Consequences of Fraud

  • Immediate termination of participation without refund.

  • Permanent blacklisting from all FYGN programs and partner networks.

  • Legal Action: FYGN reserves the right to report fraudulent activity to local authorities and international credit bureaus.
